Wynford High School sees $32,000 in energy savings

BUCYRUS - Wynford High School already is reaping the benefits of the energy savings created through its House Bill 264 project completed with H.E.A.T. Total Facility Solutions, Superintendent Fred Fox said at Thursday evening's school board meeting.

From December through March, the building's kilowatt hour production was reduced by 80% resulting in a savings of close to $12,000. In addition, the building had a gas savings of more than $4,000 for a total energy savings of $16,000.

We think we'll hit projections and do even better, which means the project will pay for itself," Fox said.
